Test Prep (MQF)
The oral ground eval is probably the most stressful part of a checkride, but tests stress some people out too. I personally find the open book tests the worst. Why? For some reason, when the answer is right in front of me I always end up getting at least one incorrect answer. Closed books are easy now. I can easily ace both the mission and qual closed book tests in roughly 5 minutes. How can you do this amazing feat, you ask? Use this computerized version of the issued MQFs. AMC E-Model and Local Little Rock MQFs are included.
You have the option of choosing just a few questions or all the questions. The test will present the desired number of questions to you randomly. (Caution: it will not present a proportion of questions from each section, but a random selection from the entire MQF) It takes me a half dozen times or so until I can complete the entire test without mistakes. The first couple times it's slow going, as you learn the MQF, but after that it goes much quicker.
The IRC is from the February 2007 edition. This practice test contains all the questions from the IRC MQF except the helicopter questions (sorry chopper dudes). (Again selecting less than all the questions will still give you randomly generated questions, but in no specific proportion to the types of questions asked.)
If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
